Thin Places

I made this film to explore the experience of grief through the lens of childhood wonder and adventure. Inspired by my own experience losing a parent when
I was young, I wanted to tell a story that blends emotions with folklore. The film takes place on Samhain, when the spirit world and the mortal world meet, and follows three siblings who set out to commune with their mother’s spirit.

It took me three years to create this short, almost entirely by myself. It is currently going to film festivals, so unfortunately, I can only share the trailer for now. Please enjoy
